Pizza-online changed its contractual terms – the investigation was concluded

In January 2014, Pizza Master Ay made a request for action to the FCCA on the Pizza-online.fi online service maintained by SLM Finland Oy. Among other things, Pizza Master suspected that Pizza-online abused its dominant market position by using its contract terms to restrict restaurants’ right to use any food ordering service competing with Pizza-online simultaneously with Pizza-online’s services.

The FCCA was of the view that Pizza-online’s conduct could have restricted competition. Pizza-online announced that it had changed its terms of contract, and restaurants could now use other food ordering services alongside Pizza-online’s services. The FCCA concluded that there was no reason to continue the investigation and terminated its processing of the case.
